Silent Farewell

It wasn't that long enough when my heart was full of love,
With feelings so strong and with no room to sob.
But then a sudden strike made my heart torn into half,
I never knew it would come, now there is no way to laugh.

I got a hard time fighting these feelings, cause the damage won't seem to heal,
Your actions knocked me out and still by this time, I can't accept it's real.
I cried, thinking that crying would soothe me,
Instead, I caught myself, my heart, begging, "Come back to me, baby! Please love me!"

I've waited, waited, and waited,
Until such time I thought those days were wasted.
Those thoughts of you which haunts me every single night,
I threw them all away, and gently kept them out of sight.

Now that my eyes were washed away with tears,
I think it's time to start things right.
I do still hope to find someone who really cares,
Someone who will never leave me in this fight.
